About Grosvenor Rowing Club
Based in the historic city of Chester, the Club aims to encourage rowing for all. With a large boat stock; and supported by quality coaching, the Club competes in regional, national and international events. Club members have medals at national and world championship level, and we compete in Regattas across the UK. We cater for all abilities from beginner upwards. The Club has a strong anti-discrimination policy and welcomes members irrespective of race, colour, religious or sexual preference.
To keep our lives in balance we also have an active social programme, with BBQs, discos and balls throughout the year.
Joining
Those of you who have never rowed before can join the 8 week 'Learn to Row' Courses which run regularly throughout the year. Check the learn to row page for details on this.
Those of you who have already learned the basics of rowing can join one of the club's squads directly. Information on the squads is on the Training Page which give details of the coaches and training times.
